Sex podcaster lineup

Gotta give props to our editor J, who’s been smokin’ away at the editing for the last 50 episodes for the props Amber gave PW:

Five Smart Sex Podcasts

Amber, the organizer of the Sex 2.0 conference, gives props to the top five sex podcasters out there, including yours truly in the #2 spot, just behind Violet Blue (an excellent position to be in, I don’t mind telling you!)

She says:

The official description of Polyamory Weekly is “Tales from the front of responsible non-monogamy from a pansexual, kink-friendly point of view.” While that tagline is accurate, it doesn’t do justice to the full awesomeness of the show. By consistently engaging with and supporting the poly community (um, because she’s part of it herself), Cunning Minx has established herself as the polyamory expert online. She’s insightful, down-to-earth, and has a wry sense of humor that never fails to make me laugh out loud. The show is also really well done from a technical point of view; check it out if you want to hear editing and mixing done right.

The editing and mixing are all J, who deserves all the credit for that compliment. Thanks, Amber!

Congrats on the #2 spot! And yes, I agree on all the things she says about PW. But, about the editing…the intro and outro music (and sometimes other music clips as well) is very loud compared to the average volume of the sexy voice of the Minx. So every time an episode is about to end I have to hurry and click repeatedly on the Vol- button on my mp3 player to avoid the shock and the following pain in my ears. I might be a bit sensitive (I know I am, actually), but I definitely think the balance could be better. But apart from that, it’s great! ;)
