Commenting area

  1. In response to HomeDespot, my partner is the one with the opportunities for play and in fact has another significant other, while no one ever even flirts with me. I have come to accept this as simply the difference in our basic natures. She is outgoing and talkative whereas I am much more reserved. She met her OSO online in a mom’s group and while I have online friends, there doesn’t seem to be any potential there for anything further. She is active in politics and softball and meets a lot of people that way. I’m active in a yoga community but the problem there is that the people I meet are either students or colleagues, neither category being people that I could ethically have an involvement with! And then there’s the birding community…birders are great but sexy is not the first adjective that comes to mind…

So basically, I let go of the idea of “meeting” someone and I channel my energies into my passions: yoga, birding, textile arts, physical fitness and accept that if the Goddess wants to send someone my way, she will.
