4:15 The Topic!! Let’s make a Manual for ourselves!
Mickey from Livejournal wrote a “dating” cv.  She created her own catagories that were more specific to her.  Minx really like this idea and used it as a jumping board to making her own manual.

6:25 everybody should write their own user manual.  This lets people know how to treat you.

6:55 Minx discusses her user manual.  (I have to admit, I would probably have taken very detailed notes here even if this wasn’t my job! – FS)

7:05 How to turn on The Minx emotionally.

8:20 How to turn the Minx on sexually.  (WOW – FS)

9:33 How to fuck up a relationship with the Minx

11:05 How to deepen a relationship with the Minx

13:00 Minx discusses her Frequently Asked Questions (Minx’s FAQ).  These are common questions you might have during your relationship with The Minx.

13:44 An interesting one. “What do I do when you cry?”  Hold her you idiot!! (I guess the tact of staring at you like an alien doesn’t work – FS)

17:00 ask Minx what should be added to her FAQ or send in your own FAQ.  In fact, take it to the forum.

17:45 Alan brings us another “Polyamory in the news.”

18:02 THe June issues of Redbook, Glamour, and Marie Claire all have some great, positive articles that includes polyamory.

19:24 Lot’s of books coming out.  Pete Benson’s “The Poly Handbook”, Jenny Block “Open”, Tristan Taramino “Opening Up”.

20:40 Both Jenny and Tristan are doing book tours across the United States. (If you happen to be in the seattle area Jenny is doing another reading this Sunday at the SPCC sexpositiveculture.org – RF)

Commenting area

  1. I have my own Me Manual located in my LiveJournal. It includes all rants and essays by myself that give people a clue how to deal with me, but I like the idea of being more organized with categories like Minx mentions, so I may go back and re-organize my own journal with sub-headings.

I made mine publicly available on my LJ so that all future potential partners and current partners could all have access to them, and the LJ style is very dynamic and ongoing, so it’s never finished like a “book”, but can be referenced over time.

  2. I should have said “all rants and essays ABOUT myself”

  3. Oh, and if anyone is interested in a book club, we have an online book club over at Shelfari and we’d love to have more active discussion going on! I plan to discuss Tristan and Jenny Block’s books in the very near future!

  4. DAMN IT! I meant
