2:30 Topic with Guest; Katie: New Relationship Energy
New Relationship Energy as defined by Wikipedia; Ravenscroft‘s definition is that it is the period of time when your obsession with the relationship overcomes your common sense; Helen Fisher’s book, Why We Love was the source for the brain chemistry comments; 9:40 what NOT to do when in the throes of NRE; 16:45 try asking your NRE crush what other people say about him/her; talk to the last partner if you can; nice thing about poly is that a current partner (who isn’t wearing the love goggles) can give an outside perspective

Gotta give props to our editor J, who’s been smokin’ away at the editing for the last 50 episodes for the props Amber gave PW:
Five Smart Sex Podcasts
Amber, the organizer of the Sex 2.0 conference, gives props to the top five sex podcasters out there, including yours truly in the #2 spot, just behind Violet Blue (an excellent position to be in, I don’t mind telling you!)
The official description of Polyamory Weekly is “Tales from the front of responsible non-monogamy from a pansexual, kink-friendly point of view.” While that tagline is accurate, it doesn’t do justice to the full awesomeness of the show. By consistently engaging with and supporting the poly community (um, because she’s part of it herself), Cunning Minx has established herself as the polyamory expert online. She’s insightful, down-to-earth, and has a wry sense of humor that never fails to make me laugh out loud. The show is also really well done from a technical point of view; check it out if you want to hear editing and mixing done right.
The editing and mixing are all J, who deserves all the credit for that compliment. Thanks, Amber!
